About Marcy Barrick – Founder and President


A professional employment consultant since 1991, Marcy has guided candidates through every aspect of the job search process, in a wide range of business sectors. Marcy has placed hundreds of candidates in new jobs by calling upon her extensive insight into the employer expectations of the ideal candidate. Transitioning from career placement to career consulting, she helps those searching for a career through every step of the process. From envisioning new career paths to developing an effective resume and interview strategies, her goal is to help clients feel motivated and confident throughout their journey.  

Prior to starting her own permanent staffing company, Regency Personnel, in 2006, Marcy was a personnel consultant with Hallmark Personnel in Fort Lauderdale and later founded their Boca Raton branch. At Hallmark, she guided candidates in all aspects of the job search process. Marcy also worked as an Associate Consultant with Right Management where she worked as an outplacement services facilitator and career transition coach. She led workshops on resume development, effective job search strategies, along with networking, interviewing, and negotiation skills. Throughout her career, she found her greatest passion in working with the job-seeker. From the culmination of all these experiences, she has become an expert in career consulting.
